All the attention in cloud so far has really been focused on compute and storage. The network has been strangely missing from the conversation. Businesses are now realizing the benefits of SDN. According to a recent report by Deloitte Consulting, firms using Software-Defined Networking (SDN) can save up to 50% on their networking bills.

This talk will discuss trends in software defined networks ranging from OpenStack Quantum to Amazon VPC to what is going on in enterprise networks to support cloud.
